The wedding reception is where the cost of a wedding can get out of hand. This is typically the largest expense, but one of the easiest to cut down on costs. One way to lower the cost of your wedding reception is to try to keep your guest list to a minimum. Do you really need to invite family members who you haven’t seen in years? You need to make smart choices when planning an affordable wedding. If your spouse to be and you can’t decide whether to invite someone, it’s probably best to leave them off the list.
